How do I find out my ring size?
If you’re not sure of your ring size, it’s highly recommended that you have a local jeweler size you for fit perfectly. Please download our PDF guide by clicking here or visit http://findmyringsize.com/?layout=2 for other helpful tools in sizing. We will send you the ring size you order, but cannot determine your ring size for you as some individuals prefer a tighter fitting ring and some looser- it is your responsibility to know what size you want to order.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Our pieces are ready for shipment from our Seattle based warehouse. Depending on location, you should receive your items within 5-7 business days if you're based in the states. International orders vary on shipment dates but we can always provide a tracking number for you.
If you have custom ordered an item, these pieces can require 2-4 weeks to be made, depending on the design and item. If you require an item by a specific date or would like expedited shipping, please let us know during the checkout process or email email@example.com. How do I know if something is in stock?
We make our best attempts at always making sure our items are in stock at all times, if however we do run out of a piece, we will notify shoppers via our website on the product page. If something is out of stock and you would like to find out when it will be available for purchase (or rushed), please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
When will the charge for my purchase go onto my credit/debit card?
As soon as you place your order, the full amount will be charged to your card. Depending on your bank, you may not see the transaction show for 1-3 days.
How do I find out when my order has been shipped?
We will send a confirmation email directly to you with your tracking number for domestic orders once your item has been sent to you. If you don’t see anything in your inbox, check your SPAM or Junk folder for messages that may have been placed in this file.
Can I gift wrap an item?
Each TEMPER piece is shipped in a custom TEMPER jewelry envelope and bag for storage. We do not offer further gift wrapping at the current time.
Can I return a gift I’ve received?
TEMPER items received as a gift may be exchanged for another item of equal or greater value. Please email email@example.com to contact us about your return.
What is the sales tax?
All orders are subject to a 10% sales tax.
What materials are used to create your jewelry?
Our jewelry is made from 100% recycled brass bomb shells and bullet casings and plated in 18k gold or white platinum.
TEMPER is convinced you will not only be satisfied, but enjoy your new purchase. If you do decide you are not happy with your new item, we will be willing to provide a refund or exchange within 7 days of purchase with receipt (shipping costs excluded).

Caring for your TEMPER pieces, like anything else you adore, is important. Since all of our items are plated with either 18k gold or white platinum, they should be cleaned every so often to maintain their sheen as your natural skin’s salts, chemicals, and pollutants in the air can affect the plating and tarnish at some point. The brass that is the core of each piece is 100% recycled material and will in time fit to the signature shape of your finger, notice it’s softness and malleability and maintain the integrity of each piece by being aware of the history of the materials used to craft each piece.
Gold itself contains no oxides and will not tarnish like other precious metals, it is a very soft metal, however, and with heavy wear and miscare the more quickly the plating will fade and the patina will become more noticeable on the brass underneath. White platinum or sterling silver naturally oxidizes with time, avoid direct contact with chemicals like bleach, perfume, chlorine, or lotion.
For light cleaning, use one teaspoon of mild liquid dish soap with tepid water in a small bowl and use a soft cloth, preferably one specifically used for jewelry cleaning, and gently rub the jewelry while keeping it in the bowl- no longer than 10 minutes. Dry with a clean cloth. We recommend light cleaning every two weeks for the utmost shine. Avoid any kind of cleaner that is abrasive.
Keep in mind that humidity increases tarnish factor for your jewelry; to keep your pieces in top form keep your items in a dry, cool place- storing in a plastic bag is even better to slow oxidation. Letting any of your jewelry sit in water for long also causes corrosion of the precious metals and fragile parts of your jewelry; take your items off before swimming, showering, or heavy cleaning to avoid damage or tarnish. Some skincare products, such as chemical peels, acidic products, or abrasive scrubs can also affect the look of your jewelry.
All TEMPER pieces can be re-plated through a local jeweler, you can also find re-plating kits for home use if you prefer.
